Happy Monday!!!

Today's activities:

  • Show knowledge of science practices
Question of the Day:
  • What is the independent variable in an experiment?
  • What is the dependent variable in an experiment?
Today's activity:
  • Science Practices Post-Assessment with Level 4 Question.  You MUST do the level 4 question.
  • Work on your Genetics Technology assignment if you finish your assessment.
Homework:
  • You Genetics Technology assignment is due Thursday.  It is an at home assignment so there are no exceptions to the due date!!!
GRIZZLIES GIVE BACK WEEK INFO:
  • Pay $2 each day to bring in starbucks or wear a hat, $5 for the whole week if you pay up front.
  • Wednesday-Friday is the teacher dunk tank during lunch; $1 per ball/$10 to walk up and dunk your teacher
  • Friday is dodgeball, it is also the Penny War kiss the pig contest.  Whatever core you want to see kiss a pig, put pennies in their jug in the office, put silver coins and dollars in the other jugs to cancel out their pennies.

  • Begin working on the Genetics Technology Project
Homework:
  • The Genetics Technology Project is due next Thursday regardless if you miss school between today and next Thursday.  This project is meant to be done outside of class, there will not be time in class to do this project.  All instructions are in google classroom.

  • Review for test tomorrow

  • Go over Review sheet, Genetics Unit Test is tomorrow!!!
  • Bring in you $5 for GGB if you have not already, tomorrow is the last day.  Remember, I will get pizza for the people who donated in the winning class.

  • If there are no carriers in a pedigree is the trait dominant or recessive?

  • Make sure all pedigree and Punnett square practice is turned in.
  • Work on the Genetics study guide
Homework:
  • Get alot of sleep and eat a good breakfast for testing tomorrow!!!
  • Bring a book to testing if you didn't check one out with Mrs. Venturo
